Media ownership is the concept of studying who controls what is produced in the media and how this affects audience experience of the media.

  • Testified against former animators that were accused communists
  • Some see him as a patriot, folk artist and champion of American culture
  • Accused of antisemitism 
  • Accused of perpetrating racist stereotypes of African-American in his movies - Song of the South
  • Caricatures of non-white characters in his animations
